Erik Hansen, a rising artist hailing from Seattle, WA is on course to once again take the world by storm with the release of his upcoming first LP “The Eternal Conflict”. Joined on this endeavor is drummer Kip Rondorf, bassist Carl Larsson and guitarist Robbie Houston. After the ear catching series of EP’s “Seasons of the Wind” I,II,III released a year ago. Hansen is again letting it be known that in the arena of rock, he is capable of holding his own and that sentiment is reverberated in the press with quotes like “Erik Hansen continues to thrive as a solo artist, demonstrating a masterful grasp of rock’s past while pushing it into the present”.

Known for his work with the band Fallen Angels and metal alumni Skelator, Hansen and his band of rock veterans draw from the endless well of musical influences ranging from Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, and Soundgarden to Tom Petty and The Beatles. The concoction of all these influences is a sound of heavy guitars, catchy vocals and rich dynamic songs.

Born out of a childhood surrounded by music in the house and a father who played guitar and pedal steel, the seeds of music, performance and a primal desire to create were planted. From Nirvana, to AC/DC, Metallica and beyond a whirlwind of influences collided and formed the genesis that is Erik Hansen.

One can’t forget to mention that rounding out the current lineup is longtime bandmate Carl Larsson who Erik has played with since 2002 in various projects, guitarist Robbie Houston who also has helped engineer and produce various works and newer addition Kip….behind the drums keeping it in the pocket, while being inspired by John Bonham and anyone with a great groove!
